- Assessing phoneme and phonological awareness.
Most of our students can access sound and this workshop will give you a clear understanding of why a basis in sound, for teaching reading and spelling, is so effective towards all students achieving outcomes.
We will give examples of how to implement these successfully in any classroom.
We will advise you on adapting your current teaching to include awareness of phonemes for your students and their greater achievement.
Assessing phoneme and phonological awareness is vital. You will be given the opportunity to explore some assessments. We’ll guide you to use this assessment information to improve your students’ spelling and reading.
